Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 37.5 hours per week

Job Role

Reporting to the Head of Estates, this role will be primarily responsible for the compliance of the NI hospice sites with the relevant legislation. In supporting the Head of Estates, the role will deliver assurance through management and reporting that each of the sites, including the In Patient locations, are compliant with the current HTM guidance and be available for audit and inspection by the relevant statutory bodies.

Total Facilities Management, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and security of all NIH sites all form requirements of the position, to ensure that all NI Hospice sites are maintained to the highest possible standard. Direct management of the internal team, and external supply partners, security, response maintenance and leading projects are continual requirements of the role. Safety of all maintenance activities and matters relating to the built environment is a mainstay of this role, with the post holder playing an active position in organisational safety outcomes.

Deputising for the Head of Estates, the post holder will hold and be expected to upkeep their professional development to allow responsibility to be taken for the various systems and equipment expected in a health care environment.
