Enterprise Manager

This is a Senior Management Post. The Enterprise Manager will represent CAN in a professional manner at all times, maintaining and protecting the reputation of the organisation. We need an entrepreneurial, commercially astute and motivated individual to enable us to sustain and grow a diverse range of Social Enterprises to include, recycling, upcycling and retail. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership experience, strong resource management and commercial acumen. He/she will bring experience of motivating, leading and developing teams, be an engaging and inspiring communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills at all levels.

The Enterprise Manager will:

• Deliver, develop and drive the growth of the WECAN project;
• Act as the key strategic lead in negotiation and liaison with external bodies and agencies including funders;
• Produce clear and costed action plans to support the development of new opportunities;
• Provide leadership to a team of 7 individuals;

• Ensure that all contracts including those with our funders and match funders meet statutory and regulatory requirements;
• Working closely with the WECAN team to maximise participant achievement;
• Delivering a sustainable action plan to ensure a smooth transition and exit from the ESF programme;
• Supporting the WECAN staff team in their individual roles to ensure the successful delivery of the project
• Meet and ensure the governance standards set out in the Strategic plan of CAN.
