ENGAGEMENT OFFICER
Northern Ireland Rural Women's Network
NIRWN is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated person to join our staff team to increase the capacity of NIRWN to engage directly with rural women regionally in NI.
The Engagement Officer will be a dedicated point of contact and support for information for rural women. The Engagement Officer will work closely with the Director to develop and oversee the implementation of the project plan and programme. They will raise awareness of the policy issues pertaining to rural women to decision makers and seek to develop the capacity of rural women to advocate for themselves.
This is an exciting new role to our organisation based in our Dungannon office.
This is a full-time post funded for three years by Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust
Salary NJC Scale 29: £26 470pa + 8% pension contribution.
The post holder will be based in NIRWN’s Dungannon office. Please note that the post holder will be required to travel regularly across NI to fulfil this role. Travel costs are reimbursed at £0.40/mile.
The role may at times require work outside of normal office hours for which a T.O.I.L. system operates.
