Young at Art, Northern Ireland’s leading children’s arts organisation, seeks an Education & Engagement Officer to join their thriving and exciting creative business delivering great arts projects and events for children and young people.

The successful candidate will work as part of a core staff team, reporting directly to the Director. Primarily office-based, the Education & Engagement Officer has specific responsibilities for overseeing and developing Young at Art's education, outreach and engagement activities including programmes delivered during the annual Belfast Children’s Festival.  Specifically, they include:

  • Developing and delivering audience development and engagement plans within the youth, education and community sectors;
  • Evaluating the impact of the education and engagement programme; 
  • Identifying funding sources for the programme, assisting with funding applications and report writing; and 
  • Line managing relevant project artists, support staff (freelance and employees) and volunteers. 

This is a permanent part-time position. 20 hours per week. £21-£23k pro rata (based on experience).
