Early Years Worker

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Early Years Worker will assist the Sure Start team in achieving the aims of the East Belfast Sure Start Programme.  S/he will organise and implement a stimulating and varied programme of play and educational activities for children aged 0- 3 and will carry out any other reasonable duties, which will enhance the quality of life of pre- school children within East Belfast.  S/he will also offer support, assistance and information to parents/carers and liaise with health professionals and early years settings in the area.
