Development Officer - Northern Ireland

Sported passionately believes in the role of sport to transform the lives of young people and local communities. We are very proud to serve a membership of nearly 3000 community organisations each of them using sport or activity to enhance the lives of young people facing challenge and disadvantage. It’s free for our members to join Sported, but that doesn’t mean they deserve anything less than the very best when it comes to the services and benefits that we offer them.

As the Development Officer for Northern Ireland, you will be a key point of contact for our 220 members across Northern Ireland and supporting volunteers, ensuring they are appropriately supported with a range of membership benefits and services to build their capacity.

You will support the delivery of key thematic partnerships and projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, effectively, and all monitoring and evaluation requirements are met.  In addition, you will recruit and train our team of Volunteer Business Mentors across Northern Ireland, building Sported’s capacity to engage with groups on a range of topic areas.
