We are seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated individual to join our organisation as a Development Officer, on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Development Officer will be responsible for delivering the Association’s ambitious social housing new build development programme over the next five years and will have a proven track record in this area. The Development Officer will play a central role in the success and growth of the Association.

Experience in a property or construction related environment is essential. In addition, the successful candidate is likely to have:

  • A third level qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Have at least 2 years previous relevant experience in a property development or construction environment;     
  • Competent use of a range of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Be able to demonstrate sound interpersonal and communication skills (including report writing);
  • Ability to demonstrate working on your own initiative and as a member of a team;
  • Hold a current valid driving licence and have access to the use of a motor vehicle;

  • Contributory Pension Scheme (NILGOSC) (Currently 19.5% Employer Contribution)
  • 22 days annual leave moving to 27 after 5 years’ service and 32 days after 10 years’ service;
