Datab Administration Officer
To support the Database and Administration Manager with the operational maintenance and audit of Age NI’s Records Management System (Raisers Edge), the operational IT function and the Administration function as part of a team.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Accurate input and export of data to/from Age NI’s Records Management System
- Monthly auditing and cleansing of data
- Coordinate routine staff enquiries on a daily basis
- Assist with the training and development programme for users of the Record Management System
- Support departments/projects with changes to data, inputting new data and running reports
- Liaising with departments to produce a schedule for retention and disposal of data
- Audit and maintain data quality and data integrity in line with the Data Protection Act 2018
- Support with IT issues by reporting to the IT support provider and liaising with staff
- Assist with IT audits
- Update and maintain the IT asset register
- Administrative/reception duties on a rota basis to support the overall effective operation of the Administration Team
It is essential that applicants have:
- Experience using and reporting from Record Management software
- Data auditing and cleaning
- Excellent working knowledge of a Records Management System, Raiser’s Edge or similar record keeping software
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance
- Working knowledge of general IT support in conjunction with an IT service provider
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to use own initiative
- Excellent team working skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret and analyse data
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to be discreet and deal with confidential information
- Excellent ICT skills with strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Word
- 5 GCSE’s A-C to include Maths and English or qualifications or experience deemed equivalent by the panel
It is desirable that applicants have:
- Intermediate Excel Qualification
What we can offer you:
Salary Scale: £19,835 - £20,879 per annum
Hours: 35 hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years
Annual Leave: 26 days plus 12 Bank Holidays
Group Personal Pension (contributions on qualifying earnings: 5% employer and 3% employee)
