The Men's Advisory Project (MAP)

0.03
The Men’s Advisory Project provides counselling services to men facing Domestic Abuse and any issues related to the abuse they have experienced. The Men’s Advisory Project have been offering this vital counselling and support service for 20 years.

We currently have a very strong and active counselling group of qualified volunteers. For their support and dedication we gratefully provide paid monthly Professional Supervision, undertake regular Peer Supervision, offer CPD training throughout the year and pay travel expenses.

We require an additional number of counsellors who will volunteer with us to ensure that we can extend our service to men who are experiencing domestic abuse throughout Northern Ireland. We require a further 5 qualified counsellors to aide us in our delivery of this service. Candidates must be thoughtful, committed and enthusiastic.  We are keen to accept applicants who are qualified counsellors/psychotherapists.

The Men’s Advisory Project Team are a fantastic, committed, group of counsellors delivering a vital service. They are warm, welcoming and have a huge amount of experience to share. Please join us now and help to make a difference.
