PSNI - 32% of domestic abuse in NI happens to men. The Men’s Advisory Project provides services to men facing Domestic Abuse and issues related to the abuse. The Men’s Advisory Project have been offering this vital specialist support service for 20 years.

Services to male victims of domestic abuse in Northern Ireland are built on the shoulders of an army of unbelievable volunteers.

We require an additional number of counsellors to volunteer their professional time and experience to ensure that all victims of domestic abuse receive the help and support they need.

We require counsellors to be based in Dungannon to aide us further in our delivery of this service.

You would be joining a very strong and expert volunteer counselling group. We are unfortunately not funded to be able to pay as we should.  We can provide monthly Professional Supervision, undertake regular Peer Supervision, offer regular CPD training throughout the year and travel expenses.

The Men’s Advisory Project Team are a fantastic, committed group of counsellors delivering a vital service. They are warm, welcoming and have a huge amount of experience to share. Please join us now and help to make a difference
