Counsellors (Part-time)

Lighthouse is a North Belfast Based mental health and suicide prevention agency, established over 17 years ago.  We are committed to the prevention of suicide, promotion of positive mental health and support to families who have been bereaved through suicide.

Due to growing demand we are expanding our counselling team and are seeking to recruit 3 BACP/IACP Accredited Part-time Counsellors, with a minimum of 150 hours, post qualification supervised counselling practice, accumulated within the last 3 years.

Based in Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, you will be providing face to face, telephone and web-based counselling support.  Our Counsellors act as a first point of contact for clients and work with a diverse client group who present with a wide range of issues.  You’ll have the ability to undertake assessments, liaise with other professionals and use a range of interventions that help to reduce suicide and improve the lives of our clients.
