A bit about the role

At Clanmil, our tenants and residents are at the heart of what we do, and we want to provide more great homes for families that need them.  There is a real opportunity for the right person to help enhance the service we provide to our tenants by managing the response maintenance contracts.

As Contracts Officer, you will enhance the service we provide to our tenants by providing a quantity surveying service for the management of our MTC contracts and assist in the evaluation of tenders/quotations and feasibility.  We also want you to process interim valuations, costing variations and final accounts and the co-ordination and monitoring of budget estimates.

A bit about you

We are seeking someone with a strong a working knowledge and practical experience of managing Measured Term Contracts.  If you’re a team player with strong ICT skills which includes the use of bespoke software packages and have good negotiation skills, we’d love to hear from you.

You will have two years’ experience (within the last seven years) within a construction/maintenance environment and a third level qualification or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.  However, we’d still like to hear from you if you have five years’ experience (within the last seven years) within a construction/maintenance environment clearly demonstrating continuous cost control management experience in maintenance contracts.  You will also have a full clean driving licence and be able to travel to meet the job requirements without the use of public transport.  A working knowledge of NEC3 or NHMF contracts is desirable but not essential.
