Community Support Worker (P/T)

To support identified groups from within Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities to further develop and deliver initiatives with young people and their families.

Qualifications and experience required include:

  • Level 2 recognised qualification in Youth Work, or equivalent.
  • Level 2 qualification in English Language, or equivalent.
  • Experience of planning and delivering youth work programmes with young people (paid or voluntary capacity).
  • Practical experience of supporting community engagement with people from diverse Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities (BAME).
  • Practical understanding and insight of the needs of young people and their families from diverse communities in Northern Ireland, including people from the Asylum Seeker and Refugee Community.
  • Practical experience of supporting a voluntary group and working with volunteers.
