Support carers by providing safe, reliable and flexible breaks from continuous care. Achieve this by accompanying and supporting adults with a learning disability who may also have added mental health issues, sensory impairment or physical needs.

Are you available to work evenings and weekends in the Belfast, Bangor and Lisburn areas?

 

Caring Breaks is an organisation dedicated to providing short respite breaks to the family carers of adults with a learning disability

 

COMMUNITY RESPITE WORKERS 

 

We are seeking individuals who are motivated, flexible and who can commit at least 8 hours each week supporting adults with a learning disability to develop their social and leisure interests within the community.

Aims of Job:

To support family carers by providing safe, reliable and flexible breaks from their caring responsibilites.

Hourly rate: £8.07 

Criteria: Candidates must be aged 18 years and over,  have 6 months caring experience (either personal or through work) and have a current driving licence and car (which is fully insured) available for work purposes.
