Carrickfergus Community Forum wish to appoint a part time Community Development Worker for Greenisland 20 hours per week. This is a fixed term post until 31st March 2020. Salary £10337.64 .

The key purpose of this post is to enhance the programmes and activities for local residents in Greenisland. The postholder will have the following roles and responsibilities; Development Role, Liaison Role, Training Role, Finance/Sourcing Funding Opportunities, Public Relations/Publicity, Administrative Role and any other duties as deemed necessary by the coordinator.

This post is 20 hours per week Monday to Friday. Given the nature of Community Development work and volunteers working within various communities the Community Development Worker will be expected to work outside these hours from time to time. Time off in lieu will be available for such hours worked.
