Working for a small charitable organisation, the selected individual is expected to be flexible in their duties and approach.

Main purpose and scope of Job:

To support the delivery of appropriate, developmental and fun activities across Newhill First Steps childcare and/or Out of Schools sessions, which ensures maximum engagement and participation of children and young people. You could work either indoors or outside, depending on location and the type of activity. Your work will usually be very active, and will require an understanding of childhood development and play learning. You may be required to do other duties such as bus escort duties for pickups and attend team meetings. All Newhill First Steps staff must have a ‘can do’ attitude, be enthusiastic and flexible, and commit to ensuring that all children and young people in our care enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience.
