Charity retail volunteers required

Pretty n Pink Breast Cancer Charity

We are seeking volunteers for our charity shop based at The Park Centre, Donegal Road, Belfast.

Founded in 2006 by Belfast woman Noleen Adair, Pretty 'n' Pink operates within Northern Ireland and is run by a very small team of people and local volunteers from across the province.  We provide financial and other support services to patients with breast cancer and their families through a charitable Support Fund, social outings, and an online support group. The charity also helps advance education of breast cancer awareness and breast care awareness through information provided on the website and from literature produced and distributed by the charity.

Your time will help us continue our vital work.

What does the role entail?

  • Sorting stock donations and merchandising it onto shop displays.
  • Maintaining stock displays and keeping the shop clean and tidy.
  • Assisting customers, serving customers, and operating the till.
  • Helping in any other areas of the shop as required.

Where would I be based?

  • At our charity shop in The Park Centre, Donegal Road, Belfast, although if desired by you we may also be able to offer you volunteering opportunities in other areas of the organization.

 Key skills required

  • Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, but a friendly manner and willingness to help is desirable.
