Centre Youth Worker
Reporting to the centre co-ordinator, the successful applicant will share primarily in the face to face youth work carried on by this small but strategically based youth centre in the heart of Ballysillan, designing and implementing programmes and projects in line with the organisations Christian ethos and organisational aims. The role will have a focus on developing the organisation’s programmes and ministry with boys. As a result, it is an occupational requirement that the appointed person must be a male who can affirm their agreement with and commitment to the organisation’s statement of faith.
Applicants must hold an OCN level 3 qualification in Youth Work (programme development) or equivalent and it is desirable that they hold a professional qualification in youth work as recognised by the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC). A driving licence is essential.
The successful applicant will have credible experience in leadership, as well as in faith based youth work, adopting an energetic, creative and dynamic approach to their practice.
