The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff members:

(Two Posts)

Responsible for the delivery of the ESF Inclusion Works Service directly to participants leading to sustainable employability & inclusion outcomes

 

To hold a caseload of participants, acting as Case Officer and managing their action plan activities.

 

To source and support external training/employment/social inclusion activities leading to sustainable outcomes

 

To work in partnership with a range of referral sources throughout the SHSCT area

 

Hours:                                  1 post x 37 hours per week

                                                1 post x 21 hours per week

 

Contract:                             1x Permanent (37 hour post)

                                            1x Maternity Leave cover to April 2022 (21 hour post)

 

Location:                           Southern HSCT Area

 

Office Base                  An Storas, Ballybot House, 28 Cornmarket, Newry, BT35 8BG

 

Salary:                                 Commencing on £23,080 per annum pro rata

 

Essential Criteria:                           

  • Minimum RQF level 6/Degree or equivalent level professional qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year’s paid experience in the direct provision of education, training or support.

OR

  • Minimum RQF level 4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as above
  • Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with good organisational & interpersonal skills 
  • Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and

have access to a suitable vehicle on appointment*

 

*This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.
