The Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust was established in 2017 after the suicide of local man Zachary Geddis (20). Developed by his family and currently overseen by his sister Yasmin Geddis, ZGBTST provides immediate, free of charge and professional mental health services to the community of Northern Ireland from its head office mental health centre based in Coleraine.
Assisting over 200 individuals per week aged 8 and above ZGBTST not only works to better the situations of all its clients but also campaigns for better mental health provision in Northern Ireland, identifying gaps present in statutory services. Through a variety of different programmes all developed in house, ZGBTST works with both the client and their family to offer them comfort and ease in their mental health journey.
ZGBTST is a young and growing organisation and wishes to improve board membership in 2024, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals who wish to better the lives of others and promote a more positive mental health and wellbeing.
