Board Member

Mornington Community Project is a charity that supports the community of Inner South Belfast by providing nurture-based interventions and prevention projects for families living in areas of significant deprivation. We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and motivated individuals who share our values, with the possibility of joining as a Board Member.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us, as in the role of a Board Member you will be directly involved with making decisions that really matter, including finances, daily operations, and plans for the future development and growth of Mornington.

The Board consists of professional people across various disciplines which the members seek constantly to broaden, strengthen, and renew. We welcome applications from all sections of our community and, in particular, those with experience working with young people, finance/accountancy, or in community development.

This role will involve monthly meetings of approximately 2 hours, which are usually held in the evening time, so we ask that those considering the role are prepared to commit to these.
