We are seeking to recruit the following position:
Bank Team Leaders, Meadowvale Court, Lisburn REF: 21-003-BTL-MVC-WEB
The Cedar foundation deliver a range of services that enable people with disabilities to get the most out of life and to be fully included in their communities. Our services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland.
At Meadowvale Court we provide care for adults over the age of 18 who have brain injury, physical, sensory or neurological disability. The extent of support and care provided is based on individual assessment of need. Personalised support services available include assistance with daily living activities, personal care, leisure and social skills and household management.
The service users living within supported living have physical and sensory disabilities and /or brain injury with associated needs and /or learning disability. The support team is expected to deliver the organisation’s mission of providing quality support, care and accommodation to our service users by upholding the organisation’s values of commitment, excellence, diversity, accountability and respect.
The Bank Team Leader will work on the rota that includes unsocial hours and weekends and will mentor and supervise the care staff team.

Contract: Bank
Location: Meadowvale Court, Lisburn
Hourly Rate: £10.48 per hour + sleep in payments
Essential:
- Numerate and literate to keep records, handle clients finance, maintain records & write reports.
- NVQ Level 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent or willing to attain a Level 3 QCF qualification
- Registered or willing to apply for registration with N. Ireland Social Care Council, (NMC if nurse qualified)
- Two years’ previous experience in a human services setting providing support/care
- Experience of supervising staff and co-ordinating provision of support and personal care
- Experience of working in partnership with service users, parents, health care professionals, carers, advocates and other agencies
- Strong working knowledge of IT, specifically Microsoft Word & Outlook
