Bank Support Worker

At the Welcome we believe housing is a human right and with the correct support anyone can change.  We are looking for individuals who are committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated to join our energetic team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months experience in a homelessness environment or experience working in a similar role, be able to positively engage with homeless people and have a strong understanding of homelessness issues. 

It is important that staff can support the Welcome Organization’s ethos of delivering very low threshold services setting the minimum barriers to service entry. 

In return, we will provide the opportunity to develop your skills, professional supervision and support, and the opportunity to be part of a team where your views count and you can make a lasting difference to the lives of homeless people. 

Hours of Work as needed for the following services:

Annsgate* - 9.30pm to 8.30am, £9.25 per hour

Drop In - 8am to 4.00pm, 10am to 6.00pm, 12.00pm to 8.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm, £8.75 per hour

Outreach - 7am to 4pm and 7pm to 2am, £8.75 per hour

Floating Support – 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri, £8.75 per hour

The post is subject to enhanced criminal record checks by Access (NI)

Please note that we would expect a minimum commitment of at least three shifts a month.
