Location: Springvale Training – 200 Springfield Road, Belfast, BT12 7DB
Hours : 8 hrs per week (25 weeks per year)
Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour
Responsible to: AppNI and Schools Partnership Quality and Compliance Manager
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this role is to develop the necessary competence of learners who attend Springvale in partnership with their current school through the effective provision of high quality training and assessment in chosen vocational areas.
MAIN DUTIES OF POST HOLDER:
- To design lesson plans and schemes of work appropriate to qualification being delivered.
- To initially assess and record learner’s skills, abilities and experience.
- To deliver practical and technical learning sessions to learners.
- To sustain expected levels of performance in accordance with Springvale internal standards and awarding body specification.
- To undertake personal training as necessary to maintain high quality standards of work.
- To produce internal and external reports as required.
- To develop relationships with key partners and other external organisations as required.
- To maintain effective working relationships with all internal departments.
- To perform other duties as required by management.
