Advocacy Support Worker, Truth Justice and Acknowledgement
PFC provides support, advocacy and advice to families bereaved as a result of the conflict on the island of Ireland and to other victims and survivors. The successful post holder will be required to support, advocate and advise families who wish to engage with statutory bodies. The applicant must have relevant experience, a sound working knowledge of human rights institutions, standards and research into human rights issues, and be fully cognisant of the status and roles of statutory and other organisations relevant to the work of the Pat Finucane Centre. This post will require travel within and beyond the north of Ireland.

LOCATION: Based largely in the Armagh office with occasional work in the Belfast office.
HOURS OF DUTY: 37.5 hours per week, to include occasional evenings/weekends as required.
SALARY SCALE: PO 1-36
The closing date for this post is 1st June 2018 at 12 noon with interviews for short-listed candidates on the week beginning 18th June 2018. The successful candidate will commence employment on 3rd September 2018.
