Administration and Liaison Officer
within the Vulnerable Syrian Refugee Consortium
(Ref: I/ALO/B/192)
Fixed term until 31st March 2020 with possible extension
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday; 9am – 5pm
with limited weekend and evening work as required
£22,750 per annum
Belfast
Job Purpose:
The post holder is responsible for the day-to-day operational support and administrative activities of the VSRC. The provision of efficient and effective operational and administrative support to the Project Manager including: maintaining databases, systems and providing cover for the Project Manager’s absence, servicing the Consortium and liaison with community, voluntary and statutory stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs at grade C and above or equivalent, including English Language and Maths
- Minimum of 2 years paid / unpaid in an administrative role including the use of Microsoft Office / Email / Internet, minute-taking and processing of invoices
- Minimum of 1 years experience of networking with organisations
- Proven experience of communicating both orally and in writing
- A full driving license and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
Desirable Criteria:
- Fluent in Arabic and English
