8095 Business Development Executive

Barnardo's NI

Development
£23,545.00

Exciting opportunity to join Barnardo's as a Business Development Executive, supporting services for children and families.

Barnardo's Scotland and Northern Ireland Business Development Team is experienced, high performing, and ambitious to continue to secure income that will make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families.

We require a skilled Business Development Executive who will contribute to and build upon our success in Northern Ireland: relishing the challenge to work with a range of colleagues to achieve high quality bids and tenders; working to deadlines; and thriving within a time-critical context.

The Scotland and Northern Ireland team is part of the wider UK Business Development team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working to deadlines, paying attention to detail and working efficiently. Excellent organisational skills are required for this role, along with an ability to maintain timely communication with a range of stakeholders.

Collaboration is key to achieving our goals. The ability to work alongside Barnardo's colleagues and external partners is therefore also essential. We are looking for a team player who can work closely with Business Development colleagues and contribute to the aims of the wider UK team.

In Business Development we expect a lot but we offer a great deal in return, starting with stimulating and challenging work and the opportunity to help Barnardo's transform the lives of the UK's most vulnerable children.

At Barnardo's we believe in children. Our purpose is to transform the lives of the UK's most vulnerable children and our vision is to realise Thomas Barnardo's dream of a world where no child is turned away from help.

At Barnardo's we believe in children – no matter who they are, what they have done or what they have been through. Please read about our basis and values following the link below. You will be asked questions relating to them as part of the recruitment process for this role.

Barnardo's is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce for staff and volunteers. We actively encourage applications from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and male candidates as they are under-represented within Barnardo's.

Interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Teams and will be held on 22 and 23 April 2021.
