Barnardo's NI delivers more than 45 services regionally across 30 sites. In total we employ over 400 people or 363 full time equivalent. 

If you have a desire to work therapeutically with children, young people and families in order to improve longer term outcomes for children and you are you a qualified (Not in AYE) Social Worker then Barnardo's would like to hear from you.  We have 3 vacancies across 3 services all full time, fixed term posts.

We are looking for suitably experienced staff who

• can appropriately and sensitively challenge when necessary;
• are committed to ongoing professional development opportunities; and

Simpson Family Resource Centre's post is a maternity leave cover position, 37 hours per week - fixed term until end September 2021.

Windsor Avenue Family Resource Centre's post is a maternity leave cover position, 37 hours per week - fixed term until  March 2021.

Pharos's post is a full time position, 37 hours per week - fixed term until December 2021 in first instance with potential for extension.

Candidates will be asked to state their preference at interview. A waiting list will also be compiled of suitable candidates who are not appointed for these vacancies should similar positions become available across the organisation up to August 2021.

Please note a minimum of 2 years post qualifying demonstrable experience in a family and child care setting working across Hardiker Levels 3 and 4 (Pharos and Windsor Avenue Family Centre post) is required.  The post at Simpson Family Resource Centre will require a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience.
