We are seeking to recruit an experienced Social Worker with a keen interest in sharing knowledge and developing others in the area of safeguarding.

Our successful applicant will have responsibility for delivering Safeguarding training and provide advice and support to Children's Services across NI, to enable them to provide safe and effective services.

This role requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can confidently deliver our internal safeguarding training packages and creatively respond to meet service specific training needs. It is vital the successful candidate can work collaboratively with others and has excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with and report to the Safeguarding Manager/Assistant Director of Children's Services Safeguarding Lead to achieve the aims of the role.

The role will primarily be based in Belfast, with travel to Barnardo's children's services throughout NI required.  A full driving licence and access to a car is required, or be able to demonstrate ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post. If appointed must have appropriate business insurance.

Hours:                 20 hrs per week

*Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band however, further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates*
