Children's House believes that every child deserves a family. We achieve this by providing a safe and secure environment for primary school aged children who have suffered maltreatment, developmental trauma and multiple placement disruption.

As part of an integrated service, we work to ensure that the children feel safe, happy and secure and grow towards a successful move to foster care.  

Children's House is seeking an experienced candidate to join the team as Senior Practitioner. Our successful candidate will be directly involved in the day to day running of Children's House and supporting our dedicated professional team to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

Applicants must hold the professional Social Work qualification and be registered with NI Social Care Council.

Location:     Based in Children's House

Hours:         37 per week (on a shift basis, including evenings and weekends)

Pattern:      Rota pattern primarily Monday-Friday to include shifts; 8am-8pm and 8-4pm. Given the residential nature of the service, a degree of flexibility is necessary; the role will include weekend, overnight shifts and an on call rota.

Salary:        £27,814 - £33,358.  On-call allowance of £17.70

*Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band however, further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates
