2555 Family Support Worker - Simpson Family Resource Centre

Have you additional time that could be spent supporting families within the North Down & Ards area? If so we are looking to recruit staff to work until March 2019. You will join a very experienced staff team who have delivered this work for more than 6 years. Referrals are received from the local family support hub and Barnardo's role is to provide 12 weeks of practical advice within the home to both children and parents. The advice will: •increase parental understanding of their children's needs •increase children's resilience and reduce anxiety •improve routines •reduce stress within the home Outcome Star is undertaken in partnership with the family to ensure the work is meeting the families' needs.
