2480 - Project Worker 2 - Therapeutic Worker (fixed for 6 mths 29.6 hrs p/w)

Barnardo's Nova Trauma Support Service: Barnardo's Nova Trauma Support Service provides trauma-focused therapeutic support for children, young people and parents who have been affected by trans-generational trauma, as a result of the N.I Conflict and by general trauma experiences including parental separation, bereavement and domestic violence. Nova trauma counsellors also deliver information sessions on understanding and managing trauma responses. Location of Service/Support Offered: The service has an office base in Banbridge from where therapeutic sessions can be provided. The service is also provided in neutral venues such as community/voluntary service buildings or in family homes across the Southern Health & Social Care Trust area. Qualification Required: A Professional qualification in either Social Work or Counselling Psychology or in Counselling with full registration and accreditation with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP, IACP, PTUK).
