We provide specialised, confidential support services for women, children and young people who experience domestic and sexual abuse.
Our refuge provides emergency temporary accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence. It is a safe place where women can have time and space to make decisions about their futures and our specialist refuge staff are on hand to provide one-to-one emotional and practical support.
Our Outreach and Floating Support Workers support women by providing one-to-one emotional and practical support around safety planning, housing applications and financial empowerment. We can support you to access court support, personal development, educational training and signpost to other community support services.
We work with children and young people aged 4-18 years old who have or are experiencing domestic violence. We provide a range of age appropriate specialised services, including:
- One to One Support
- Group Work
- Personal development programmes
- Prevention programmes
We provide a range of education and development programmes to enable women, children and young people to address their experiences of domestic violence and create safe, positive change for the future.
Referrals We accept self-referrals and referrals from family or friends, teachers, parents, social workers, police, midwives and other health professionals and agencies.
Our staff are currently working remotely due to present circumstances in relation to Covid-19. Although our office is closed for face to face appointments we continue to provide support via phone call, email or text.
