The Consumer Council has a dedicated helpline 0800 121 6022, and website (www.consumercouncil.org.uk) to answer any consumer related enquiry or complaint. In addition, we have developed a Coronanvirus Consumer Factsheet on our website.

The Consumer Council has statutory responsibility for consumer issues in Northern Ireland. We have specific statutory powers in relation to energy (electricity, gas, Heating Oil, LPG and Coal), Transport (Bus, Train, Planes, and Ferries), Postal Services (parcels and post), and water and sewerage services.

We have our own communications team which can develop social media, website and press release content on consumer issues.
