Better Retail, Better World is mobilising the retail industry to meet some of the biggest global challenges of the coming decades.
Using the widely recognised United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a framework, clear, transparent and measurable Goals developed with businesses and campaigners are at the heart of the initiative. The initiative addresses five of the 17 Goals most relevant to retail, which include: ‘decent work and economic growth’, ‘reduced inequalities’, ‘sustainable cities and communities’, and ‘responsible consumption and production’ and ‘climate action’.
In this webinar we will hear from Alice Ellison (British Retail Consortium), Aodhan Connolly (NI Retail Consortium) and Iain Ferguson (The Co-operative Group) on how the initiative is progressing and what impact it is having in the retail sector.
