Understanding Depression in Young People

Every Life Matters

Cost: £50
Research tells us that mental health issues such as depression begin before the age of 18. In the UK, at least 15% of young people will have experienced a clinically diagnosable depressive illness before the age of 18 years. Some may never be identified as needing help while others may not get the help they need. The consequences of untreated depression are poorer performance at school and a disrupted family life. This course demands no prior knowledge or academic standards. It is for parents and all those who work with teenagers and young people.
