EFT or Tapping can be very effective in reducing anxiety, stress, depression and physical pain. It’s simple to do and very empowering as it uses the body’s own healing power. It operates on the premise that no matter what part of your life needs improvement, there are unresolved emotional issues in the way. It involves the tapping gently with their fingertips on traditional acupressure points on the face, the upper body and the hands, while at the same time focussing on a particular event or memory and relating this to the voicing of specific statements.
Colour breathing is a simple stress reducing activity that may be quickly learned. It brings together proven relaxation and stress management techniques in an easy-to-use tool kit which men, women and children of all ages find accessible and really enjoy using. In short it involves mentally picturing/meditating on a colour that represents how you want to feel or and what you want to let go in your life (stressor).
