Space to Play! (Southern area)

Play is an intrinsic aspect of children’s lives. Having regular opportunities to engage in outdoor play is known to be particularly important for children as it helps to develop their imaginations and creativity, encourages them to be physically active and supports their social development.

By attending this training, you will gain a better understanding of the need for play and the importance of being creative and inclusive when planning, designing and implementing outdoor play spaces.

The training takes place across three sessions - you are advised to attend all three sessions (those who do will receive a hard copy of PlayBoard’s Space to Play book):

* Tuesday 22 February 2022
* Tuesday 1 March 2022
* Tuesday 8 March 2022

Sessions run from 6:30 - 8:30pm and will be delivered online.
