If you've been diagnosed with a condition affecting your sight, this six week course could provide the practical and emotional support you need to face the future with confidence. As well as providing an opportunity for people with sight loss to meet and connect with each other, family and friends are also invited to attend and participate.

The course will run on Tuesdays over six weeks (Tuesday 25 September to Tuesday 30 October) and comprises of a combination of sessions about what help and support is available and how it can be accessed.

A range of different themes are covered including: mobility and daily living, emotional support and wellbeing, assistive technology, eye health, peer support and leisure time.

This course is being run through the cross-border 'Need to Talk' project in Crowne Plaze Hotel, Dundalk.

Tea/coffee/scones served on arrival, and soup and sandwich lunch provided.
