Join us for the launch of The Freedom Project, a transformative 3-year initiative focused on trauma, substance recovery, and mental health. Supported by PEACEPLUS and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), this project aims to create lasting change in our community.

Join us for the launch of The Freedom Project, a 3-year initiative on trauma, substance recovery, and mental health. Over the next three years, The Freedom Project will:

  • Develop a peer support network through community collaboration.
  • Promote self-advocacy, knowledge-sharing, and lifestyle changes for individuals, families, and communities.
  • Utilise trauma-informed practices to address the effects of the Northern Ireland conflict and intergenerational trauma.
  • Support 520 individuals in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area, enhancing resilience and mental health management across the lifespan
