Keeping Children Safe: Training for Staff and Volunteers - Larne

This one day certificated training course is suitable for staff and volunteers who have regular and/or direct contact with children and young people (e.g. supervisor, leader, officer in charge.
It will cover:
- awareness of safeguarding children;
- procedures for reporting concerns;
- creating a child centred environment; and
- codes of behaviour for staff/volunteers and children/young people.
It will assist staff and volunteers with meeting good practice standards in safeguarding children and young people.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited to a maximum of 5 per organisation.
Time: 10.00am - 4.30pm

Cost: £35 + VAT per person
This training programme is a suitable foundation for attending Keeping Children Safe: Designated Officer Training.
Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel your booking, no charge will be applied if written notice is received 5 working days before the course. Volunteer Now regrets that if written notice is received less than 5 working days before the course, a £10 cancellation charge will be made. If no notice is given, full course fees must be paid. Volunteer Now reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. Please note for free courses - a cancellation charge of £10 will still apply if no notice, or less than 5 working days notice is given.
