This course is designed for anyone wanting to learn more about fuel poverty, its causes, and links with physical and mental wellbeing.
Course aim
The course looks at the causes and impacts of fuel poverty with a focus on the health impacts. It aims to help delegates identify those likely to be at risk from fuel poverty and signpost to assistance.
Course objectives
Explain:
- causes fuel poverty.
- health impacts of fuel poverty.
- causes of and remedies for condensation dampness.
- heat loss in the home.
- grants and other forms of assistance.
Duration: Webinar for a max of 12 participants - 2.5 hours.

Fee - FREE to eligible participants only
NEA NI's Warm and Well Project, supported by the Public Health Agency (PHA) and the Belfast Community Planning Partnership, can provide this training for free within the Belfast Area to Health and Social Care staff, Housing Professionals and Community & Voluntary organisations.
We do also accept bookings from delegates that fall outside of the above criteria, however, there will be a charge to attend. £68 plus VAT for Non-commercial or £75 plus VAT for Commercial. Please note these costs are per person.
