• Fire Triangle
• Fire Classifications
• Consequences of Fire
• Fire Doors and Exits

Emergency Actions
• Identifying Extinguishers
• Classification of Fires
• Evacuating Procedures
• Liaising with external Agencies

Fire Warden Duties
• Reducing Fire Risk
• Recording and reporting
• Walk-rounds – Generic Fire Risk Assessment
• Identifying fire hazards
• Fire extinguisher checks
• And any local on-site arrangements

Assessment

Delegates are continually assessed and guided throughout the course and they also sit a 15 question multiple-choice question paper.

Who is it designed for?

Any person who undertakes basic fire safety activities within the workplace and acts as the nominated Fire Warden. This includes people who are working in business, commercial, leisure, sporting, industrial or other environments.

These courses are tailored to suit the needs of the client, the direct responsibilities of their Fire Wardens and those with a direct responsibility for fire safety in the workplace. The duration of the course depends on the requirements of the client group. All delegates receive Fire Warden certificates valid for 3 years.
