Come celebrate our 20th birthday and enjoy the very best international and local arts experiences for children and young people in Northern Ireland.

Come celebrate the 20th birthday and enjoy the very best international and local arts experiences for children and young people in Northern Ireland. Belfast Children's Festival runs from Friday March 9 to Wednesday March 14.

Dive into the packed programme of theatre, visual art, music, dance, literature, workshops and talks, guaranteed to inspire joy, creativity and curiosity.

Artists from all over Europe, including Sweden, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain, along with home-grown talent will be presenting shows and interactive experiences in venues and locations across Belfast. We will also have a series of relaxed performances.

Check out the Big Botanic Birthday Bash, which will be jam-packed with free activity for families over the main festival weekend.

Horses is a dance performance with an untameable energy, How to Catch a Star is a show which reminds us all to follow our dreams and Penguins is about friendship, fun, identity and the ever-changing meaning of family.

The quirky Getting Dressed invites you to dive into a world of colour, texture & movement. The Assistant’s Revenge is a spellbinding murder mystery packed with music, glamour, magic, death-defying escapology and more twists and turns than a ten-inch corkscrew! Pink & Blue explores if we can all be who we want to be and accept others as who they are too.

The festival also offers a diverse programme aimed at adults, professional arts practitioners and those working and studying in related fields.

Full programme is out now!
