Adviser Network Webinar
Following on from the success of our first 'Adviser Network Webinar' Law Centre NI will be hosting another to discuss support for self-employed workers.

The webinar will focus on the UK Government's 'Self-Employed Income Support Scheme', including requirements to access support, how earnings will be calculated and other support available outside the scheme.

It will also give advisers an opportunity to ask an employment solicitor questions to help understand how the scheme will work in practice and how it might overlap with other support measures.

When: Friday 03 April, 11am - 12:15pm
Where: This is a webinar held on the Zoom platform*
RSVP: [email protected]

*It is essential that you RSVP, along with your email address, to ensure our training team can invite you to join the webinar and ensure you have all the necessary information in advance of the meeting.

At the meeting on Friday 03 April we will discuss:

1. Self-Employed Income Support Scheme

Our employment legal officer, Clare Coulter, will discuss the new Government scheme. The presentation will focus on the basic requirements to access the support, as well as information around what advisers might need to look out for. It will also look to address what the scheme might look like in practice for self-employed workers, including key frequently asked questions.
You can find a copy of our 'Self-employed Workers FAQs' here.

2. Discussion

Questions will be taken through the chat function and put to the legal officer at the end of the presentation. We will answer as many questions as possible during the webinar and endeavour to respond to questions after the session ends where possible.
