The Wider Circle: Creating enabling opportunities for healing and wholeness of people who have experience of harmful or traumatic events

Board Member Opportunities:

The Wider Circle was founded in 1999 and is a cross-community, voluntary organisation, a Registered Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee.

TWC facilitates a process of self-healing through trauma programmes which seek to restore a sense of hope in the lives of people who have experienced isolation, alienation and pain. TWC also publishes books and literature designed to help people to better cope with their problems.

The Wider Circle is embarking on a new, exciting and challenging developmental phase. We have a three-year Strategic Plan to carry us forward and are now seeking experienced, skilled individuals to complement our existing Board members who possess a variety of key skills including social work, community development work, peace and reconciliation work and Dramatherapy.

The Wider Circle is currently recruiting Board members with particular skills in governance, business experience, marketing or finance. Are you available to give some time and commitment to the work of The Wider Circle?

This offers an interesting and stimulating experience for anyone with passion to contribute to the charity's development.
