We need volunteer support for the V&FA project officer to meet objectives for farmland bird projects. Sound basic computer skills required, with the motivation to learn new skills such as computer mapping (GIS) You will be well organised and willing to assist with regular mailings, data recording and compiling information packs and with assistance work on bird maps (both hard copies and on computer) The volunteer will work with confidential information, and there will be occasional work cataloguing and archiving records. Ability to work unsupervised when necessary. Full training on mapping of bird survey information will be given. An interest in conservation issues will be useful but not essential.
