The School for Social Entrepreneur is based on the highly acclaimed School for Social Entrepreneurs in London and is part of a growing network across the UK meeting the needs and providing support for social entrepreneurs and enterprises in their local settings. SSEI was established as an independent, not for personal profit company in October 2004 by the Flax Trust in partnership with the University of Ulster and we deliver accredited and non-accredited courses up to Masters Level. By blending ‘taught’ courses, ‘best practice’ trip, mentoring opportunities and networking opportunities, the School of Social Entrepreneurs provides you with vital information and experiences to enhance individual and organisational entrepreneurial capacity, which in turn greatly benefits the sustainability of the sector as a whole.

We are currently recruiting for two of our courses; The Advanced Diploma in Social Enterprise is a 12 calendar month part-time course and is for individuals who are actively pursuing the establishment or development of a sustainable social enterprise. MSc in Executive Leadership is a personal and professional journey to excellence in leading people and organisations and is set out as a 2 year part-time programme including ‘best practice’ trip to Fordham University, New York. Each course is structured in a way that works best for you and your organisation and at a price less that half of a privately organised course.
