Job Assist Centres, Greater Shankill, is a community initiative based throughout the Greater Shankill area and was established as an outcome of the West Belfast and Greater Shankill Taskforce Report.

We aim to engage with local people to assist them into employment; also to develop those for whom employment is not an immediate option.

We provide a confidential, client focused, advice and mentoring service that seeks to work on a one-to-one basis with individuals who need guidance, support and encouragement in their efforts to secure trainign and employment.
As a signposting organisation we have developed professional working relationships within the community and it's projects, with statutory agencies, voluntary and community services, in order to direct people towards appropriate services that can be of assistance to them.

Our objective is to prepare people for employment by offering a range of services that raise self-esteem and employability for our community.

We see Job Assist Centres as a progressive response to unemployment in the Greater Shankill and at the heart of helping our community develop and thrive.
