Harpurs Hill Children and Family Centre

The Centre was established in 1993 to address low levels of preparedness for school.  it takes a holistic approach combining community development with delivering people-centred, family support services.  

The Project runs an Early Years programme delivering creche & playgroup services as well as the Sure Start Two to Three Year Old Development Programme.  Alongside this are Family Support  services designed to meet the needs of individual parents and families.

Within the Family Support programme we deliver a home visiting service where we offer a listening ear, guidance, information, relevant links and contacts to enable families to realise their full potential.  We also facilitate a group for local women as well as a group for parents who have children with additional needs.  A variety of programmes are offered to support and empower parents in their parenting role.

Many of the above services are delivered in partnership with Coleraine Sure Start.
